Turkish Walnut Grips for the Colt Detective Special

Replacement grips for the classic Colt D-frame revolvers – the Detective Special, Cobra, Agent, Diamondback and Viper. Each grip is CNC machined to the original factory frame and finished by hand in our family workshop in Türkiye. The filled-in front and rounded palm swell give a fuller, more secure hold than the slim factory stocks, while keeping the grip compact enough for carry.

27 designs – walnut, laminate and acrylic

Turkish walnut: smooth figured, checkered, basket weave, fish scale, floral and scroll engraved, many with a gold, silver, bronze or red medallion or a silver falcon, wreath, ornament or snake inlay
Laminated wood: blue, gray-blue and multicolor layers – weather resistant and striking
Acrylic: white or black with gold or bronze medallion

Will these grips fit my revolver?

They fit factory Colt D-frame revolvers: Detective Special, Cobra, Agent, Diamondback, Viper and Police Positive Special. They are not made for forged copies, hand-built guns or modified frames. For new-production (2017+) Colt revolvers, please check with us first. Not sure about your revolver? Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we will confirm the fit before you order.

Walnut is a natural material, so grain and color vary slightly from grip to grip – no two are identical.

Can I get custom Colt grips with my name or initials?

Yes – our custom grips can be engraved with your name, initials, logo or a design from your photo. See also our Colt Python target grips.
